2、more than＋名词、动名词。意为“不仅仅，超过，不同于”。Hibernation is more than sleep．译：冬眠不仅仅是睡眠。

3、more than＋形容词、副词，表示“非常、十分”。She is more than happy．译：她非常高兴。

4、more than＋动词，对动词起着加强语气的作用。表示“十分，极大地，岂止是，不仅仅”They may teach well and more than earn their salaries．译：他们可以教得很好，而且不仅仅是为了薪水。
